Say goodbye to your shovel and spend more time enjoying the winter weather. Choose from our electric or gas snow blowers that will have you ready for when the snowfalls. These powerful snow blowers and snow throwers are easy to use and made from durable parts that will last for many winters. Can't decide between an electric or gas snow blower? An electric snow blower is lightweight, quiet and compact, perfect for small driveways and sidewalks. Gas snow blowers are more powerful, meaning they have more endurance and are better for heavier snow and longer driveways.
Even if you don't have a long driveway, a snow blower is still a good option, especially if you don’t want to spend too much time shoveling. If you find it hard to shovel snow, a snow blower can help ease the strain. With a high grade snow blower, removing snow is painless and easy.
The electric start works on household voltage. Simply plug in an extension cord to the wall and push the start button
Single stage units have one auger that pulls the snow in and then propels it up out of the chute. Usually recommended for smaller areas. Two stage has an auger out front pulling in the snow and then a fan shaped impellor behind that which then throws the snow up the chute. Usually recommended for medium to large areas. Three stage units have an auger out front of the machine to break up larger chunks of snow, then behind is another auger to draw the snow into the machine. Then, the impellor blasts the snow up out of the chute. Recommended for larger snow falls or heavier snow or larger areas to clear.
The tires that come equipped on snow blowers today have a very aggressive tread design and therefore do not require chain to aid in traction.
Working time is very dependent on the snow conditions. Wet snow is much harder to move and therefore will tend to shorten the working time on a single charge.
Horse power can be rated from many different point on an engine. Each point can produce different ratings. Some 5 years ago, Government mandated engine manufacturers to rate engine size by it’s volume or “CCs”. That measures the inside volume of an engine and it does not have variables. That was to make a level playing field when talking engine size. No different than the way automotive or motorcycle engine sizes have always been classed.
